Denzil “Buster “ Biles

Denzil “Buster “ Biles entered the U.S. Army on November 9, 1942 before being deployed to the European Theatre in August 1943, first landing in Italy. In February 1944, while fighting in the Battle of Anzio, which lasted from January 22, 1944 to June 5, 1944, Pfc Biles was wounded in action and awarded the Purple Heart.

After the war, Biles married Margie and operated a trucking business until he retired.
