Jeff W. McIntire
Jeff W. McIntire served as an infantryman in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000 to 2012.
While deployed to Iraq in 2008, McIntire was part of a vehicle mounted patrol with dismounts trailing, when his vehicle struck a double stacked 155mm artillery shell pressure plate IED.
After spending 2 months in the hospital at Al Taquadem, McIntire chose to rejoin his unit and continued the deployment.
He was awarded the Purple Heart December of 2009.
