Daniel Thomas Finn
SPC Daniel Finn served on active duty for two years during the Vietnam War. Eight months into his tour of duty in Vietnam, Finn's unit was ambushed and he lost his left foot in an explosion. Along with the Purple Heart, Finn earned the Combat Infantry Badge, the Sharpshooter Badge, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Army Good Conduct Medal. We were proud to recognize him as the Illinois representative during the 2019 Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission.
