Robert Cox

Robert Cox served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. A Sergeant in the U.S. Army, Cox hailed from Hawaii, before becoming a member of Charlie Company, 4th Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment. On Feb. 18, 1969, Sgt Cox was wounded by an NVA "Bouncing Betty" booby trap while on maneuvers on the "Ho Chi Mein Trail." He was honored as Hawaii's representative during the inaugural Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission in August 2019.
