NBC 10 WJAR: Woonsocket Purple Heart recipient honored during national tribute event

A Woonsocket veteran and Purple Heart recipient was recently named as one of the nation’s 2023 Purple Heart Patriot Project honorees.

The National Purple Heart Honor Mission said on Tuesday that Ernest Boisvert represented Rhode Island’s Purple Heart recipients at the multi-day tribute event.
