NBC Montana: Montana Purple Heart recipient honored in national tribute tour

MISSOULA, Mont. — U.S. Navy Radioman Third Class Steven "Gus" Gustuson represented Montana at a Purple Heart Patriot Project event.

Gustuson has two Purple Hearts from shrapnel wounds during his time serving in the 1960s.

Gustuson, along with other recipients of the Purple Heart, got the chance to tour the U.S. Military Academy at Westpoint, Historic Washington's headquarters and the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor.
