Times Herald Record: Purple Heart Coin Designs Unveiled to Honor Soldiers

Hudson Valley leaders and veterans on Saturday unveiled the designs of Purple Heart coins that will honor soldiers wounded or killed in combat, and will help raise awareness about the Purple Heart museum in Orange County.
Outside the Castle Point Veterans Affairs hospital in Fishkill, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney joined local veterans and members of the nonprofit National Purple Heart Honor Mission, to showcase the coins’ designs.
