Mobile Tribute + Education Center

mobile tribute and education center.jpg

Our core mission is to ensure that America’s Purple Heart veterans are never forgotten. In order to honor as many of our heroes as possible, and educate a new generation of Americans about the sacrifice of our Purple Heart recipients, the National Purple Heart Honor Mission will be establishing a traveling exhibition to bring the story of the Purple Heart to the nation. Not everyone can come to the Hall, but we can bring the stories, the history and artifacts from our Purple Heart veterans to communities across America.

The “Purple Hearts Across America Tour” will provide the public free access to the Tribute Center allowing Americans of all ages to learn about the service and sacrifice of the more than 1.8 million Americans who bear the scars of war or have lost their lives in conflicts around the globe. The national non-profit is launching a fundraising campaign and accepting applications from communities, businesses, schools, universities and other veterans’ groups to participate in the tour which is expected to visit up to 25 cities next year.

Housed in a custom, expandable tractor-trailer truck, the National Purple Heart Mobile Tribute & Education Center will feature engaging displays, artifacts, and video testimonials from Purple Heart recipients from across conflicts and generations. The facility will also include a studio where Purple Heart heroes can privately record their Stories of Valor to be preserved in perpetuity.

We envision the mobile exhibitions to run in the Spring and Summer months and are actively fundraising for this project.
